This page explains what Catsy (the bot and this website) collects and how we use it. By inviting the bot or using this site, you agree to this policy.

What we collect

Discord IDs (user, guild, channel, message) needed to operate the bot.
Server settings (channels, schedules, filters, welcome/leave layouts).
Content you send from the builder (text, buttons, options).
Images you upload for banners/embeds (hosted via Bytescale to deliver them reliably).
Technical data like server logs and a session cookie for Discord login.

How we use it

Run core features (auto posts, bookmarks, welcome/leave, web sending).
Personalize content (filters, layouts, buttons).
Keep the service safe and reliable (rate limits, abuse prevention, debugging).
Aggregate analytics to improve the product (no individual profiling).

Legal bases

We process data to provide the service and under legitimate interests (security and quality). We request OAuth2 consent where required.

Sharing

We only share data with providers we use to run Catsy:

Discord — authentication and bot operation.
Firebase — configuration storage.
Bytescale — image hosting.

We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Server settings until you change/remove them or remove the bot.
Bookmarks until you delete them.
Images as long as needed to display content (you can request deletion).
Logs for a limited time for diagnostics and security.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards. No system is 100% secure — please report issues in our support server.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, or deletion. Contact us in the support server. Removing the bot from your server deletes its server config.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in with Discord. Clearing cookies may require logging in again.

Children

Catsy isn’t intended for children under 13.

We’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date when this policy changes.
